FAFSA: Disbursement

As with any loan, student aid must be approved before any funds are disbursed.  This process may or may not require action on your part.  If any verifications are necessary, you will be notified as to what information you will need to submit. 

Once approved, you will be sent a notice of Loan Guarantee and a Disclosure Statement.  This is an official recounting of every dollar you will be receiving.  It will also detail how you will be receiving your funds and finally, how to utilize your disbursements.  Be sure to review it for accuracy and of course, keep it in a safe place.
